Baldur’s Gate is perhaps one of the most revered CRPG series of all time, even if I think the older games don’t really hold up well today. Today, Larian Studios has unveiled the Early Access portion of Baldur’s Gate 3, their follow-up to the legendary Divinity: Original Sin II. I called Divinity: Original Sin II the ” the true modern successor to the heralded Baldur’s Gate II,” and now we’ve got an actual heir to the throne launching.
So… let’s play it, yeah? That sounds like a great idea! Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available in Early Access on Steam, Stadia, and Mac, but we’re hoping that like other Larian games, it will come to consoles later on down the line.
